]]>We were excited to be joined by Councilman Curtis Jones Jr. and Representative Vanessa Lowery-Brown at the ribbon cutting, along with the community and congregation. After the ceremony, everyone marched over to the ParkWest Town Center where Pastor Walker’s choir performed and he was awarded with our Renaissance award. Pastor Walker is pleased that their community outreach has continued to touch the lives of families and the community at large. He looks forward to extending the church’s ministry in the 4th Council District. See great photos from the ceremony here!

]]>If you missed this day, you missed alot! We awarded two students, Vonshae Hubbard of Mastery Charter Shoemaker & Rodney Mobley of Paul Robeson, with a $1,250 ParkWest Town Center Educational Award, had raffles that included $20 cash every 20 minutes, gift certificates from Shoprite, tickets to see Charlie Wilson at The Mann, tickets to Please Touch Museum and personal training at The Fitness Bank. Our grand prize raffles included a 32′ Sharp TV and a grill from Lowe’s. Congratulations to all the winners!!
We kicked it off with Zumba, the kids enjoyed pony rides, arts & crafts, face painting, and got to show off their skills with a dance contest, while the senior pavilion kept the bingo going. There was plenty for all to enjoy. We had a great line up of acts from our community including the Conestoga Drumline & Step-Team and Brotherly Love., with special guest including Kriss Mincey, Jae Artist and GoGo Morrow. The turnout this year was great and said to be one of the best! With your continued support, we hope to keep growing every year.
